I have several globe artichoke plants around my plot, they are great veggie to grow. Not only tasty, but they look impressive they grow huge silvery foliage and are mostly trouble free.
I say mostly, as you can see one of the giant plants is being attacked by aphids, a mixture of greenfly and blackfly. They will cause some damage if left unchecked by sucking the artichoke leaving it looking very sad and badly scarred.
But I’ve told you about my secret, my aphid spray. I put it to use after I took the photograph. Just to prove to you how well it works, I will post again in a couple of days!
Happy gardening my friend!
